According to Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. , the deceased have been identified as . Mahendra Nath (70) of Tinsukia, Subodh Mukharjee (76) of Charaideo, Ratindra Kr Chandra (73) of Dibrugarh, Pankaj Chetry (38) of Dibrugarh, Jogeswar Gohain (72) of Golaghat, Badan Dutta (84) of Morigaon, Biresh Ch Malakar (70) of Hojai, Upendra Chandra Kalita (59) of Kamrup (metro), Dayaram Tiwari (78) of Kamrup (Metro), Piyara Begum (55) of Hojai, Raghunath Thakuria (56) of Morigaon, Bhadreswar Gogoi (45) of Golaghat, Karabi Kalita (29) of Baksa and Sant Kumar Lohia (71) of Dibrugarh.
The Minister tweeted , “My condolences to all the families. We stand by you in this hour of grief.”
