Shillong (Meghalaya), Aug 4 : 11 fresh Covid cases were detected in the state today taking the total number of active cases to 626.
According to sources , the NEHU Administrative Building will be closed till Monday after a daughter of a senior staff of the university was tested Covid positive .

Out of the 11 new cases , 2 are from Armed forces , 2 from BSF and 5 general from East Khasi Hills district . 1 case each was reported from Ri Bhoi and West Jaintia Hills .
A total of 18 patients were also discharged on Tuesday after full recovery . So far a total of 282 have fully recovered from their infections .
