Khanapara(Meghalaya), Oct 6: In a major boost to medical education in the Northeast, the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) has secured approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC) for its PA Sangma International Medical College (PIMC), a joint venture with the Government of Meghalaya.
The NMC approval allows PIMC to admit 150 MBBS students, marking a significant step forward in addressing the region’s healthcare needs. USTM’s Founder Chancellor, Mahbubul Hoque, hailed the development as “historic” and a testament to the university’s commitment to quality education.
