Shillong (Meghalaya), Nov 28: In a heart-stopping finish, Sawmer SC clinched a 2-1 victory over Ryntih FC in the Officer’s Choice Blue Shillong Premier League 2024. The thrilling match saw a dramatic turn of events in the second half’s stoppage time.
Rheadolf Nongneng Daloi put Sawmer ahead in the 13th minute at the SSA Stadium. The team maintained their lead until the very end, when Allen Lyngdoh Nongbri’s long ball bounced over the Sawmer goalkeeper Pyrshangbanbha Dkhar for the equalizer in the 90’+3 minute.
