Shillong (Meghalaya ),Jan 30 :The state on Sunday reported 362 new COVID-19 cases taking the total number of cases to 90,884, an official press statement said.
The death toll also rose to 1,522 as four more patients succumbed to the disease on Sunday . While 2 deaths were registered in East Khasi Hills , one each was reported from West Jaintia Hills and Eastern West Khasi Hills .
East Khasi Hills district topped the list with highest number of fresh cases at 149, followed by West Garo Hills at 133.

424 patients were declared recovered from the infection during the day, taking the total number of recoveries to 87,009,.
The state now has 2,353 active cases.
