Shillong (Meghalaya), Nov 7: In a grand finale, the State Level Youth Exchange Programme 2024 culminated today at the Convocation Hall, NEHU Shillong Campus, showcasing the vibrant energy and skill of Meghalaya’s youth. Organized by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Meghalaya, this four-day event brought together talented youths from all 12 districts.
The program featured an array of competitions, interactive sessions, and talent hunts, including declamation, quiz, poetry, writing, story writing, painting, folk songs and dance (solo and group), and science mela.
These events aimed to foster skills and creativity among youths, providing a platform for them to shine.
The grand finale also announced the selection of 24 youths from Meghalaya to attend the upcoming International Empower Youth Programme in Indonesia. This prestigious opportunity will enable these young talents to showcase their skills on a global stage.
