Shillong(Meghalaya), Feb27 : Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today launched “Ka Bos Jong Ngi”, a new public transport initiative, with 84 buses, including 55 electric ones, to improve urban connectivity. The buses come equipped with modern amenities like air-conditioning, mobile charging points, and real-time tracking.
The launch marks a significant step towards sustainable urban development, with a pilot run starting on the IIM Shillong–Upper Shillong route.

The government also handed over food carts to Van Dhan Vikas Kendra beneficiaries, promoting entrepreneurship.
