Shillong (Meghalaya), Oct 4: The National Book Trust, India is thrilled to announce the 2nd edition of the Shillong Book Fair, taking place from, October 5-13, at the State Central Library, here.
Governor of Meghalaya, C. H. Vijayashankar, will inaugurate the event, which promises to be a vibrant celebration of Meghalaya’s rich literary and cultural heritage.
At a press conference held at the Shillong Press Club here today, Frederick Roy Kharkongor, Principal Secretary, Arts & Culture Department, praised the National Book Trust-India for promoting reading in today’s digital age. Yuvraj Malik, Director, National Book Trust-India, outlined the event’s exciting features.
