Shillong (Meghalaya), Oct 3: Rangdajied United secured a crucial 4-1 victory over Malki in the Shillong Premier League 2025 at the SSA Stadium, here in Polo. Denelson Pyngrope opened the scoring for Rangdajied with a clinical penalty in the 16th minute, sending the ball low past Malki goalkeeper Franklin Surong. Malki responded well and found an equalizer just before half-time through Hilford Lyngkhei’s header.
However, Rangdajied regained the lead in the second half with Pasborlang Khonglikong scoring from distance in the 64th minute. Wansiewdor Nengnong sealed the win with a solo effort, sprinting from his own half and slotting a running shot past the keeper in the 76th minute. Freddy Jyrwa added the fourth goal three minutes later, capping off an impressive team performance.
This win marked Rangdajied United’s second victory of the season, taking them to 9 points and sixth place in the standings, tied with Sawmer but with a better goal difference. Malki, meanwhile, remain eighth, just outside the relegation zone with 6 points. The win has given Rangdajied United momentum, and they will look to carry this form forward to finish in the top six and qualify for the SSA Super Cup.
