Shillong ( Meghalaya), Oct 6 : The inaugural Senior Women’s Interstate Friendship T20 Tournament concluded yesterday with an unexpected twist, as rain and a wet outfield forced the declaration of Sikkim and Nagaland as joint winners.
Organized by the North East Cricket Development Council (NECDC) and hosted by the Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA), the six-day tournament brought together six NECDC states, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Sikkim.

The NECDC aims to prepare member states’ senior women’s teams for the upcoming BCCI 2024-25 domestic season.
