Shillong (Meghalaya), Sep 17: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma has allocated portfolios to the eight new ministers inducted into his cabinet, while retaining crucial departments, including Finance and Cabinet Affairs, under his direct charge.

The swearing-in ceremony for the new ministers was held on Sep 16 at Raj Bhavan, where Governor C.H. Vijayashankar administered the oath of office. The cabinet reshuffle aims to balance regional representation and uphold coalition commitments, with Chief Minister Sangma expressing confidence in the new lineup’s ability to serve the people of Meghalaya.
