Shillong (Meghalaya ), Nov 30 : 70 fresh Covid cases were detected in the state on Monday taking the state tally to 11,810.
Among the new cases , 53 were reported from East Khasi Hills, 4 each from West Garo Hills, East Jaintia Hills,Ri Bhoi and West Khasi Hills and 1 from South Garo Hills .
A total of 75 patients were declared recovered on Monday .
The active cases as of now stand at 763 after a total of 10,936 patents have recovered and the death toll stands at 111.
Meanwhile, in view of the increasing number of Covid patients being admitted to Civil Hospital, Tura there has been shortage of beds for Covid patients .
The DHS, Garo Hills Division has advised the respective districts not to refer the mild or low risk patients unless in case of emergency .
