Bajengdoba (Meghalaya), Jan 30 : The three accused persons who were involved in Bajengdoba PS Case No. 22(12)2020 U/S. 392/457/34 IPC have been arrested by the Police Patrolling team while they were trying to commit robbery at Rari along National Highway 51).
The three arrested have been identified as Rajip Marak (25) of Bollongre Aga, Paul Marak (25) of Augar Apal, Dadenggre and Mansil A Sangma (18) of Nengchggre under Jengjal PS.
The trio was nabbed on the highway, face masks, with holes for their eyes to see along with sharp weapons.
Earlier on Dec 22, last year the group of criminals were involved in robbing an elderly couple while they were at home.
The three arrested have been forwarded to Court today. They were earlier involved in a spate of unsuccessful and successful robberies.
