Shillong ( Meghalaya), Sept 3 : A total of 109 fresh Covid cases were detected in the state on Thursday taking the total number of Covid cases in the state to 2626.
The active cases stand at 1220.
Among the fresh cases today East Khasi Hills reported 78 cases which includes 68 general public and and 10 from Armed Forces .
In capital Shillong 13 people tested positive today in Police Bazar out of 79 random -sampling while 3 shop keepers in Tura Super Market in West Garo Hills District today during random sampling .
In West Garo Hills 15 new cases were reported which includes 7 general public and 8 from Armed Forces .
Ri Bhoi District reported 13 new cases , West Garo Hills 2 cases and West Jaintia Hills 1 case .
75 patients were discharged today from various hospitals and Covid Care Centres after full recovery and the no of total recovered patients has gone up to 1393 .
