Shillong (Meghalaya) , Dec 11 : One more Covid patient succumbed to his infections in Shillong raising the death toll to 124 in the state.
The patient has been identified as K K Paul aged 55 years from Mawbah area here. Das was brought dead to NEIGRIHMS on Dec 7 evening . He had a history of coronory artery disease and hypertension .

On Friday, 59 new cases were detected in the state taking the state tally to 12, 645 .
Among the new cases , East Khasi Hills reported 50 cases , West Jaintia Hills 5 , Ri Bhoi 2 and 1 each from East Garo Hills and South West Garo Hills .
44 patients were declared recovered today .
