Imphal (Manipur), June 5: Manipur reported 775 new cases and 7 deaths today. The total number of infections in the state has reached 57,351 and 915 total deaths. The number of active cases in the state stands at 9,307.
The positive cases from the general population are from Imphal East (165), Imphal West (237), Thoubal (112), Bishnupur (48), Kakching (57), Ukhrul (1), Churachandpur (109), Chandel (10), Senapati (8), Tamenglong (1), Tengnoupal (4), Kangpokpi (13), Jiribam (8) and Noney (2) according to the Health Department.
In the last 24 hours, the State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee reported seven COVID-19 deaths takingt the death toll to 915.
As per the Health Department, 602 persons were discharged, out of which 367 are from home isolation. The recovery rate is 82.17 per cent.
