Shillong(Meghalaya) , July 11 : Load -shedding in the state will come to and end from Monday midnight said chief minister Conrad Sangma.
In a tweet , CM Conrad Sangma said ,”The MeECL is withdrawing loadshedding from midnight of 11th July 2022 and the shortfall in power is being arranged through banking which will be at no cost.”
He also added ,”This has been possible with the functioning of all units with the exception of NEEPCO sources from Khondong and Kopili which we are awaiting restart.
We would like to thank the consumers for all the patience and cooperation during the difficult period last month.”
The state has been witnessing major power crisis for almost over a month now and the residents of the state have been complaining about it.
