Shillong (Meghalaya), Feb 3: Langsning FC survived a late scare to defeat Ryntih FC 2-1 in a nail-biting OC Blue Shillong Premier League 2024 match at the SSA Stadium, Polo, today.
Dauruhipaia Pale’s 35th-minute strike put Langsning ahead, but Basuklang Bina’s 69th-minute equalizer sent the match into a frenzy. Just when it seemed like Ryntih would snatch a point, Dajiedlang Wanshnong’s 87th-minute header sealed the win for Langsning.
Ryntih’s struggles continued, with 24 goals conceded and only one scored in their last three games. Langsning, however, has shown improvement after a slow start to the season.
The return of experienced goalkeeper Luckystar Lawai boosted Ryntih’s chances, but Langsning’s determination paid off in the end. The win takes Langsning up the league table, while Ryntih’s search for a turnaround continues.
