Shillong (Meghalaya), Oct 9 : Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong successfully concluded the 2nd International Conference on Economics and Public Policy (ICEP-II), cementing its position as a premier platform for economic discourse.
The conference attracted 55 distinguished participants from India and abroad, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas under the theme “Emerging Frontiers in Inclusive Growth and Development.”
ICEP-II was supported by Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand (Knowledge Partner) and North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO).
119 research papers were received, with 44 selected for presentation across 10 thematic tracks which included Health and Education, Sustainable Development, Climate Finance and Gender and Cultural Diversity.
ICEP-II provided a platform for innovative inquiry into pressing economic challenges, solidifying IIM Shillong’s reputation as a hub for economic thought leadership.
