Dolcie’s voice has fallen into eternal silence last night. She died of kidney ailments at her residence in Shillong .
She will be remembered for her standout deep resonant voice. She was a wonderful company, always sporting a smile.
11 years back on May 2009, she retired as one of the most Golden Voice of All India Radio Shillong as English Announcer.
She had been as News Reader too of the most popular North East News of All India Radio Shillong. Songs of Yesteryears was her most fabric presentation in Western Music. People would come to know her just by listening to her voice only even without seeing the face. Such a wonderful Voice.
On Saturday she passed away after a brief illness .
She is survived by four children and six grandchildren.
She will be missed for her endearing human qualities.
