Shillong ( Meghalaya), April 8 : I more Covid death and 25 new Covid cases were recorded in the state today .
Among the new cases 20 were reported from East Khasi Hills , 2 from East Jaintia Hills and 1 each from Ri Bhoi district , West Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills .

The state tally now stands at 14, 165 and the active cases stand at 131 after a total of 13, 883 patients recovered . The death toll due to the virus now stands at 151 .
