Shillong ( Meghalaya ), May 26 : 10 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 512 .
While 8 deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills District , 1 each was reported from West Jaintia Hills and East Jaintia Hills .
According to an official statement from the government , 846 new cases were detected in the state today out of which 527 were from East Khasi Hills .

752 patients undergoing treatment were discharged from the hospitals on Wednesday after full recovery .
The state tally now stands at 32, 295 with 8,055 active cases after 23, 728 patients recovered .
