Shillong ( Meghalaya ), June 11 : Though the number of positive cases have come down in a few districts but since the positivity rate is still in the danger mark, the state government has decided to extend the lockdown in East Khasi Hills till June 21 .
The Deputy Commissioners have been empowered to decide for other districts and few relaxations will be allowed as deemed fit by respective DCs.
Up to 20% of non essential shops may be opened in certain areas in the State and the DCs can also permit up to 20% of commercial vehicles to operate.
The relaxations will be decided by the respective DCs based on the local conditions.
