Shillong(Meghalaya), Oct 4 : The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the ongoing recruitment in Civil Defence & Home Guards Department has been postponed due to inclement weather, as per government directions. The test was initially scheduled to take place from Oct 4 to 8.
Comingone Ymbon, Minister for Civil Defence & Home Guards, inspected the PET venue at Civil Defence & Home Guards Complex, Mawdiangdiang, here, accompanied by top officials, including MK Singh, IPS, Commandant General of Home Guards and Civil Defence, and Vijay Kumar Mantri, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary, CDHG.
After the inspection, the minister convened an emergency meeting with the Central Recruitment Board and met with candidates scheduled to participate in the test.
