Shillong (Meghalaya), Nov 9: Akash Chaudhary, a talented cricketer, has etched his name in the history books by becoming the third batter to hit six sixes in an over in first-class cricket. This remarkable feat was achieved during the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 plate group match against Arunachal Pradesh in Surat.

His team, Meghalaya, declared their first innings at 628/6 after winning the toss and choosing to bat first. They enforced the follow-on after skittling Arunachal Pradesh for 73, and at stumps, Arunachal were 17/3 in their second innings, trailing by 526 runs.
