Shillong ( Meghalaya), Sep 22 : The people of Meghalaya are in deep sorrow following the passing of Kupar Blah, State Secretary of the National People’s Party (NPP). Chief Minister Conrad Sangma condoled his death, describing him as a dedicated party colleague who played a significant role in strengthening the NPP, especially in the Khasi Jaintia Hills. Kupar Blah was also one of the party’s founding members and a close associate of the late P.A. Sangma.
Kupar Blah had been ailing for some time due to diabetes and is survived by his wife, daughter, and a brother. The Chief Minister extended his condolences to Kupar Blah’s family and friends, stating that he will be deeply missed by everyone in the NPP family.
