Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh ) , June 28 : 5 more Covid cases were reported in the state taking the total number of cases in the state to 177 .
3 new cases were detected from West Kameng district on Saturday and they were military personnel, according to official sources . 2 more from the Capital Complex area and West Siang district were found Covid positive on Friday.
All 5 of them were returnees and were in quarantine facilities and are asymptomatic and have been shifted to COVID care centres.
Arunachal Pradesh has 122 active cases now after 54 patients tested negative twice .
The state recorded its first Covid death when a woman from West Kameng district died of coronavirus infection. The patient was a CKD and was awaiting kidney transplant .
