Shillong (Meghalaya), Dec 13 : Three more Covid deaths were reported in the state on Sunday , here taking the death toll to 128 .
Nabir Limbu aged 74 years was tested Covid positive on Dec 2 and was admitted to NEIGRIHMS , here on Friday and expired on the same day . The cause of his death was Type 2 diabetes with end stage renal disease, Covid pneumonia and hypertension.
Trevor O Lamare aged 38 years , hailing from Iawmusiang in Jowai, was admitted to Nazareth Hospital here on Dec 3. and passed away on Saturday morning. The cause of his death was Type 2 respiratory failure with Covid pneumonia and severe adrenoleukodystrophy .
Reading Sohlang aged 88 years from Nongpoh, was admitted to Nazareth Hospital here on Nov 28. He passed away on Saturday morning. The cause of his death was due to severe sepsis with Covid pneumonia and hypertension.
On Sunday , 123 new cases were detected in the state . Among the new cases 76 were reported from East Khasi Hills , 42 from West Jaintia Hills , 2 from West Garo Hills, and 1 each from South Garo Hills , South West Garo Hills and West Khasi Hills .
A total of 31 patients were declared recovered today .
