166 new Covid cases detected in the state , 4 more fatalities

Shillong ( Meghalaya) , Sept 22 : 4 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 1,385 .

While 2 deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills , 1 case each was recorded in Ri Bhoi and West Khasi Hills .

According to the data shared by the health department , 166 fresh Covid cases were detected on Wednesday with East Khasi Hills on the top with 97 cases followed by West Khasi Hills with 42 cases .

172 patients were also discharged today after full recovery .

The active cases now stand at 1,868 .
