Tura ( Meghalaya), Aug 30 : Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma attended the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Guitar Workshop and Musical Concert in Tura today . Mrs. Sonia Khan, Indian Representative of ABRSM, was the Guest of Honour, alongside other dignitaries including Abraham T. Sangma, Superintendent of Police, West Garo Hills, and Vibhor Aggarwal, Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills.
The Chief Minister praised the event, despite being invited on short notice, and fondly recalled his own experiences as a young musician, having performed on the same stage in 1996 and 1997. He thanked the institutions and organizations involved, highlighting the importance of music and arts in the community. The event showcased local talent and brought music enthusiasts together, demonstrating the power of music to unite people.
