Guwahati(Assam), Oct 17 : 12 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections today taking the official death toll in the state to 865 .
Health Minister , HB Sarma informed that a total of 642 new cases were detected out of 23129 tests conducted, with a positivity rate of 2.78 % and Kamrup Metro reported 149new cases
A total 818 patients were discharged today after recovery .
