Shillong (Meghalaya), July 3 : I more person who recently returned from Delhi was tested Covid positive today in Tura taking the total number of cases in the state to 59 .
The state as of now has 15 active cases as the rest of them have been discharged from various hospitals in the state after they tested negative twice . The first patient who was detected in the state has died .

Confirming the incident , CM Conrad Sangma tweeted today , “One more returnee who came from Delhi has tested positive for COVID19 in Tura.”
