Shillong ( Meghalaya), Oct 15 : Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and his wife, Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar, will embark on a two-day tour to Guwahati and Shillong on Oct 16-17, as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
During his visit, the Vice President will lay the foundation stone of the Meghalaya Skill and Innovation Hub at Mawdiangdiang in New Shillong, aiming to enhance the region’s skill development and innovation ecosystem.
The Vice President is also scheduled to visit the IT Park in Shillong, where he will interact with entrepreneurs and innovators, promoting the growth of technology and innovation in the region.
In addition, VP Dhankhar will meet with the Chief Minister and senior officials at Raj Bhavan Shillong to discuss key issues and development projects in the region.
This visit is expected to foster growth, innovation, and development in the Northeast region, aligning with the government’s vision for inclusive progress.
