Kokrajhar (Assam),Nov 22: With the general elections to the Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly scheduled to be held on Dec 7 and Dec 10 knocking at the door , various political parties including BPF, UPPL, BJP, GSP, Congress, AIUDF are busy in their election campaign in support of their party candidates across the four districts.
All the political parties are trying to woo the common masses with days left for the polls .
On Sunday, the vice president of United People’s Party Liberal(UPPL) and candidate for Baukhungri constituency Pratibha Brahma cut the ribbon to inaugurate the election steering committee office at Owabari in Kokrajhar district in presence of party supporters and leaders.
Brahma was hopeful that UPPL would is win the polls with absolute majority to form the next Bodoland Territorial Council legislative assembly in the BTC council elections in the 40 member house.
Brahma said that common voters are waiting to vote in favour of UPPL for parivartan and development among the society. She said that common masses are totally if favour of UPPL for development and good governance.
She alleged that BPF ruled BTAD administration for 17 years but totally failed to bring development and welfare for the masses .
She claimed that UPPL would be winning with absolute majority in BTC election to form the next BTC council administration.
She said that she is getting massive support of common voters for parivartan from Nail constituency.
Today , Brahma addressed several election camp meetings held at Nayekgaon, Harinaguri .
UPPL candidate for Salakati constituency,Lazu Mushahary addressed a massive election meeting at Khargaon near Kokrajhar town today.He said that peoples from all sections are coming forward to extend support to the UPPL in the BTC council elections.
He said that UPPL party is gaining popularity among the people as citizens want parivartan and massive development through good governance.
He alleged that BPF has failed to work for the welfare and development of common masses in the region.He claimed that his candidature is getting massive support and is sure to win from Salakati constituency with massive margin .
Meanwhile, former BTC executive member and BPF candidate for Banargaon constituency Rajib Brahma was campaigning in Banargaon constituency on Sunday.
He said that BPF was working for all round development and welfare in the region. He expressed his hope that he is emerging victorious from Banargaon constituency with massive support from common voters.
He expressed his hope that BPF would be winning with absolute majority to form the fourth BTC legislative assembly.
