Mild earthquake jolts Assam & Meghalaya

Shillong (Meghalaya) , Feb 25 : An tremor of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter Scale hit different places in Assam and Meghalaya on Thursday night.

The epicentre of the earthquake was 31 km east of Guwahati.The earthquake occured at 10:33 PM at a depth of 30 km from the surface.

Tremor was felt in Guwahati, Nagaon, Darang, Morigaon, Nalbari ,Shillong , Jowai & Tura .

There was no damage or casualty due to  the quake .
