New Delhi, March 13: The Congress has finalized 95% of its candidates for the upcoming Assam Assembly elections, with the list expected to be released tomorrow, says party president Gaurav Gogoi.
The party has already released a list of 42 candidates, with Gogoi contesting from Jorhat and Debabrata Saikia from Nazira.

Notable candidates include Gaurav Gogoi (Jorhat), Debabrata Saikia (Nazira), Mira Borthakur Goswami (Dispur), Ripun Bora (Barchalla), and Indraneel Pegu (Majuli).
The Congress is building a coalition, potentially with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, to challenge the ruling BJP in Assam.
