Guwahati(Assam), June 4 : The state reported a total of 158 Covid cases on Thursday taking the total figure to 1988 .
A total of 47 new cases were reported in the afternoon which included 33 cases from Hojai, 6 from Dhemaji, 4 from Bongaigaon, 3 from Barpeta and 1 from Baksa in the afternoon .
Again a total of 111 new cases were reported in the evening which included 46 cases from Hojai, 28 from Udalguri, 11 from Kamrup, 10 from Nagaon, 5 from Morigaon, 3 from Nalbari, 3 from Goalpara, 2 from Golaghat, 2 from Jorhat and 1 from Dhubri.
Thursday also saw the release of 29 patients after they tested negative for #COVID19 twice. The psatients who were released included 14 from MMCH 5 from FAAMCH, 4 from SMCH , 3 from Golaghat CH , 1 from GMCH 1 and 2 from Dhemaji CH .
Now , the figure of total discharged patients so far has gone upto 442 and the total active cases stand at 1539.
In his latest tweet , health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said , “📌Alert ~ 111 new cases of #COVID19+. 46 Hojai, 28 Udalguri, 11 Kamrup, 10 Nagaon, 5 Morigaon, 3 Nalbari, 3 Goalpara, 2 Golaghat, 2 Jorhat, 1 Dhubri”.
