Guwahati (Assam) , May 31 : 56 fresh cases were reported in the state on Sunday afternoon taking the total number of cases to 1272.
Health Minister ,Himanta Biswa Sarma said that out of 56 cases, 18 are from Lakhimpur, 12 from Barpeta, 7 from Udalguri, 5 from Baksa, 5 from Dhubri, 3 from Kamrup, 2 from Dhemaji, 2 from the Airport, 1 from Nalbari, and 1 is yet to be ascertained .
The minister tweeted , “📌Alert ~ 56 new cases of #COVID19+ .18 Lakhimpur, 12 Barpeta, 7 Udalguri, 5 Baksa, 5 Dhubri, 3 Kamrup, 2 Dhemaji, 2 Airport, 1 Nalbari, 1 (to ascertain).”
