Guwahati(Assam), Oct 9 : 8 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections on Friday taking the death toll to 802 .
Health Minister , Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that 1019 new COVID cases detected out of 31586 tests today out of which 252 were from Kamrup Metro and 100 cases from Jorhat .
The positivity rate was 3.22%.
