Shillong (Meghalaya), April 13: The MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026, a nationwide youth-centric initiative, concluded here, today with Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya interacting with young participants. The event aimed to enhance youth understanding of the Union Budget 2026 and make budgetary provisions more accessible and citizen centric.
Launched on February 2, 2026, the initiative drew over 12 lakh participants across India, with Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal recording the highest participation. The competition consisted of a national-level online quiz and an essay-writing round, focusing on themes aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Winners will get an opportunity to interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and present their budget ideas. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to informed youth participation in national economic discourse and development priorities.
