Resubelpara(Meghalaya), March 4: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma relaunched Focus+ registrations and reaffirmed Meghalaya’s commitment to sustainable development and inclusive growth under Vision 2032. “Meghalaya is the second fastest growing economy in the country after Tamil Nadu,” he said, emphasizing people-centric progress.
The state government plans to honour Late P.A. Sangma’s legacy with a museum, book, and film. Initiatives like Green Meghalaya and Focus+ aim to boost conservation, rural livelihoods, and climate resilience, covering 50,000 hectares and expanding to 100,000 hectares.
