      Shillong (Meghalaya), June 24: The state government has reappointed Ms. RM Kurbah as the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District today, June 24, replacing the incumbent SC Sadhu who was appointed during the Lok Sabha elections.

      SC Sadhu has been transferred as Secretary of Community and Rural Development, Fisheries etc .

      Below is the official notification:

      RM Kurbah, IAS (SCS:2010) Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Community & Rural Development, Fisheries etc., Departments and Director, Community & Rural Development is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

      No.PER.36/2011/Pt.VII/58-A- Shri S.C Sadhu, IAS (RR:2011) Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District,Shillong is transferred and posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Community & Rural Development, Department, Fisheries Department, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department and Water Resources Departmenta and as Director, Community & Rural Development with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

      No.PER.36/2011/Pt.VII/58 -B- Shri A. Baranwal, IAS (RR:2018) Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

      No.PER.36/2011/Pt.VII/58 – C- Shri S. Awasthi, IAS (RR:2019) Deputy Commissioner, South Garo Hills District, Baghmara is transferred and posted as East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

      Shri Pilot R. Marak, MCS, Senior most Additional Deputy Commissioner, South Garo Hills District, Baghmara shall look after the office of the Deputy Commissioner, South Garo Hills District, Baghmara with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

      Shri S..M.A Razi, IRTS, commissioner & secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Public Health E-ngineering, Education Depaftments etc., shall also function as Commissioner &-Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Secretariat Administration Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders. He is, however, relieved of his functions as Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Education Department with effect from the date of handing over charge.

      No’PER’36/2O11/PI.VII/59 – A- Shri Gunanka D.B, IFS, Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Planning, Investment Promotion & Sustainable Development Department etc. shall also function as Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

      No.PER,36/2011/PI.VII/57 – Shri Sampath Kumar, IAS (RR:1997) Principal Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department etc., shall also function as Principal Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Forests & Environment Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

      No.PER.36/2011/PI,VII/S7 -A- Shri F. R. Kharkongor, IAS (RR:2000) Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Arts & Culture Department etc., shall also function as Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt, of Meghalaya, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

      No.PER.35/2011/PI.VII/57 -B- Shri P. Bakshi, IAS (RR:2006) Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department etc., shall also function as Additional Chief Executive Officer, Invest Meghalaya Authority (IMA) under the Planning, Investment Promotion & Sustainable Development Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

      No.PER.36/2011/Pt.VII/57 -C- Shri V.K. Mantri, IAS (RR:2007) Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt, of Meghalaya, Information & Public Relations Department etc., shall also function as Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Education Department and Mining & Geology Department and as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Meghalaya Basin Management Agency (MBMA) under the Planning, Investment Promotion & Sustainable Development Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

      No.PER.35/2011/Pt.VII/S7 -D- Dr. Joram Beda, IAS (RR:2008) Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Soil & Water Conservation Department etc., and Registrar of Societies is relieved of his functions as Registrar of Societies with effect from the date of handing over charge.

      No.PER.36/2O11IPI.VII/57 -E- Smti R.C Sohkhlet, IAS (SCS:2010) Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Tourism, Sports & Youth Affairs Departments etc., is relieved of her functions as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Sports & Youth Affairs Departments with effect from the date of handing over charge.

      No.PER.36/2011/Pt.VII/57 -F- Shri R.P Marak( IAS (SCS:2011) Secretary to the Govt, of Meghalaya, Mining & Geology Department and Commissioner of Transport shall also function as Director, Mineral Resources with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
      He is, however, relieved of his functions as Commissioner of Transpot with effect from the date of handing over charge.

      No.PER.36/2011/Pt.VII/57 -G- Smti I. Laloo, IAS (RR:2013) Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare Department and Director, Sports & Youth Affairs etc., shall also function as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Sports & Youth Affairs Department and as Director, Urban Affairs with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
      She is, however, relieved of her functions as Director, Sports & Youth Affairs with effect from the date of handing over charge.

      No.PER.36/2011/Pt.VII/57 -H- Shri D.D Sangma, IAS (SCS:2015) Additional Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Mining & Geology Department, Health & Family Welfare Department and Chief Minister’s Secretariat shall also function as Commissioner of Transport with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

      He is, however, relieved of his functions as Additional Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department and Chief Minister’s Secretariat with effect from the date of handing over charge.

      No PER.36r2011/Pt.VIIr57 -I’Shri R.Chitturi, IAS (RR:2016) Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Finance Department etc., shall also function as Joint Chief Executive Officer, Invest Meghalaya Authority (IMA) under the Planning, Investment Promotion & Sustainable Development Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

Chandra, IAS (RR:2019) Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Planning, Investment Promotion & Sustainable Development Department etc., shall also function as Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until fur.ther orders.
