Shillong (Meghalaya), Nov 15: Bollywood’s dancing diva Nora Fatehi headlined the opening night of the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2025, alongside international performers like Jason Derulo and The Script. The festival, scheduled for November 14 and 15 at Polo Ground, was a grand celebration of music, culture, and natural beauty.
Nora Fatehi’s performance was highly anticipated, with fans eagerly waiting to witness her signature dance moves and electrifying stage presence amidst the breathtaking backdrop of Shillong’s cherry blossoms in full bloom. The festival drew inspiration from its past success, where it generated nearly ₹10 crore against an investment of ₹5 crore.
The Cherry Blossom Festival has become one of Meghalaya’s biggest cultural attractions, blending natural beauty with world-class entertainment. This year, the festival featured a star-studded lineup, including international performers like Jason Derulo, The Script, Tyga, DJ Diplo, and Aqua, as well as local talents like Meba Ofilia, Dappest and adL, Girish and the Chronicles, and Arius.
The festival featured multiple zones, including the main stage, second ground, Polo Ground, and MFA Ground, with activities like the Mr. and Ms. Cherry Blossom competition, cosplay, and Cherry Blossom arm wrestling.
