Shillong (Meghalaya), Aug 2: The highly anticipated Miss Meghalaya 2024 and Miss Teen Meghalaya 2024 pageants are scheduled to take place on Saturday, 3rd of August 2024 at the Lariti Multipurpose Hall, Mawkasiang. This prestigious event is organized by Meghalaya Tourism and the Department of Arts and Culture.
CMConrad Sangma, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, while the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Textiles, Paul Lyngdoh, will be the Guest of Honour. The event is further supported by Atomy India as the Beauty Partner and Lakme Academy Shillong as the Makeup Partner, ensuring that contestants present their best selves.
This year, a total of 38 contestants will participate, with 19 competing for the title of Miss Meghalaya 2024 and another 19 for Miss Teen Meghalaya 2024. The winner of Miss Meghalaya 2024 will secure a direct entry to Miss Universe India 2024, while the first and second runners-up will represent Meghalaya in Miss Northeast 2024. The winner of Miss Teen Meghalaya 2024 will go on to represent Meghalaya in Miss Teen Diva 2024 in Jaipur.
