Nongpoh(Meghalaya ), June 16 : Another resident of Ri Bhoi district has tested positive for Covid-19 in Ampata village under Jirang Community & Rural Development Block today.

This is the second case of Covid-19 that has been recorded in the district prompting the district administration to clamp down restrictions under Section 144 Cr PC .
Official sources said that the restrictions have been imposed to prevent any possibility of the spread of the virus.
