Meghalaya records 12 more Covid -19 deaths , 809 fresh cases

Shillong ( Meghalaya), May 27 : 12 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infection in the last 24 hours taking the death toll so far to 525 .

While 11 deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills , 1 fatality was reported from West Jaintia Hills .

According to an official statement , 809 new cases were detected on Thursday , May 27 out which 419 were reported from East Khasi Hills and 109 West Jaintia Hills .

The state tally has now gone upto to 33104 with 8256 active cases after a total of 24.525 recovered .
