Shillong ( Meghalaya) , Feb 17 : A police Sub-inspector from Ri Bhoi, Amit Sinha, who was on an official visit to Delhi, died in a tragic road accident at Gurugram in Haryana at around 3.30 am on Saturday .
He was with the Crime Branch of Meghalaya police. His friend, Digvijay Singh, who was driving the vehicle, sustained multiple injuries.
According to information available, SI Amit Sinha posted at Ri Bohi died tragically in road accident at around 3 .30 am today at Gurgaon .
He was on official visit to Delhi and at the time of incident was travelling with his friend Digvijay Singh .
The duo had gone to have dinner at sector 58 Gurgaon and were returning back in the vehicle which was being driven by his friend Digvijay Singh. All of a sudden, an unknown vehicle hit their vehicle on the back which led to the accident.
SI Amit Sinha was declared brought dead by the medical officer at Sanar International hospital Gurgaon while the driver of vehicle Digvijay Singh who received multiple injuries is admitted in the hospital.
