Shillong (Meghalaya), Jan 14 : Khasi film “9-Lad” – a story on flesh trade and prostitution is all set to be released in Feb next .
Commander Shangpliang , the director and producer of the film said that though the movie was slated to be released last year the release had to be postponed for some changes to attract more crowd .

The film which was shot in the city’s hub Police Bazar during both day and night . The title song of the movie- 9-Lad has already crossed 3.3 million views in Youtube.
The script was written after an extensive research and some parts of the movie consists real time incidents.
The film aims to expose the real prostitution racket in Police Bazar and find out ways and means to stop it .
