Nongpoh(Meghalaya) ,Jan 15 : The Photo Electoral Rolls in respect of all 5 (Five) Assembly Constituencies of Ri Bhoi District, namely, 8- Mawhati (ST) AC, 9 – Nongpoh (ST) AC, 10 – Jirang (ST) AC, 11 – Umsning (ST) AC and 12 – Umroi (ST) AC was released today .
The final Photo Electoral rolls were handed over to the Representatives of different Political Parties by Smt. R.M Kursbah IAS, Deputy Commissioner (EL), Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh in her Office Chamber in the presence of EROs and AEROs of the District.
Meanwhile ,The District Election Officer, East Khasi Hills District, has informed the public that the list of amendments to the draft photo electoral roll for the 13- Mawryngkneng (ST), 14-Pynthorumkhrah (GEN), 15-Mawlai (ST), 16-East Shillong (ST), 17- North Shillong (ST), 18-West Shillong (GEN), 19-South Shillong (GEN), 20-Mylliem (ST), 21-Nongthymmai (ST), 22-Nongkrem (ST), 23-Sohiong (ST), 24-Mawphlang (ST), 25- Mawsynram (ST), 27-Pynursla (ST) and 29-Mawkynrew (ST) Assembly Constituencies has been prepared with reference to 1 st January 2021 as the qualifying date and in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960.
A copy of the said roll together with the said list of amendments has been published and will be available for inspection at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, East Khasi Hills, Shillong and at the office of all Block Development Officers concerned during office hours.
