Meghalaya Covid 19 : 5 more fatalities , 514 fresh cases reported

Shillong (Meghalaya), June 19 : 5 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 776.

While 2 deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills , 1 each was reported from South West Garo Hills , West Garo Hills and West Jaintia Hills .

According to official sources , 514 new Covid -19 cases were detected on Saturday  which includes 163 from East Khasi Hills and 115 from East Jaintia Hills .

A total of 585 patients were declared recovered on Saturday .

The active cases as of now stands at 4743.
